The challenge for today’s auditor is to help the business you are auditing identify the relationship between an effective management system and the achievement of business objectives. When this relationship is clearly drawn, the audit and audit results can play a significant role in the ongoing development and growth of the organisation. The course introduces the concepts of business planning and performance measurement and highlights their significance when conducting audits and developing business-focused audit reports.
The course content is strongly linked to the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9004:2000 standards, and adopts a practical and applied focus to the business environment within which the modern auditor operates.
