How do I apply for WaterMark?
An application for a Watermark certification could be carried out by filing an application form and submitting it to CQC-SAI. How do I apply for StandardsMark?

How long before I get my certificate?
It largely depends on how a manufacturing site prepares. Engineers and auditors from CQC-SAI will adjust their schedules to fit into clients’ requirements as much as possible and assist applicants getting their certificates as early as possible.
How long is my certifcate valid for?
Normally, a certificate is valid for a period of 3 years, however, during this period, the certificate holder has to pass annual surveillance audits, which takes place every year. At the end of the third year, CQC-SAI will carry out a procedure called technical review to bring the certificate into another period.
My customer wants to apply by himself. Is this possible?
This will be fine for your customer. Moreover, if you want to put both of you and your customer on a certificate, it’s possible as well by having a joint certificate.
Can I use my CQC ‘CCC’ certificate?
CQC ‘CCC’ certificates are mandatory to certain manufacturers to put their products in Chinese market, but valid only in China. CQC-SAI accepts all test reports as long as those laboratories issuing the test reports are recognized by SAI Global. Some of the product type tests could be done in China.
